During the
latter part of 1995, the then Grand Secretary of the “United Grand
Lodge of England”, RW. Bro. M.B.S. Higham RN. PJGW, invited me to be
the Official Visitor to the Paternoster Lodge – No 4783. An honour I
was pleased to accept. During my Annual Visits to the Lodge, I have been
privileged to met Brethren who are dedicated Freemasons, and who are
firmly committed to a full participation in the Lodge’s affairs both
at the Ceremonies, at the Lodge of Instruction, and in social
activities.
The strength of the Lodge is demonstrated by their unstinting support of
the Senior Pastmasters, who are the bedrock of the Lodge.

Gillett [1823 – 75] an Author & Cleric was quoted as saying; “We
are always looking to the future, the present does not satisfy us. Our
ideals, whatever it may be, lies further on”. I know that all the
Pastmasters, and Brethren of the “Paternoster Lodge – No 4783”
subscribe to the highest ideals of Freemasonry. I therefore wish them all
good fortune in their endeavours in achieving these ideals, as we go
forward to the future.
